“DEPARTURE” CTVA Film Portfolio 2017

This is my finished portfolio for California State University, Northridge’s film program. The assignment was to tell a story of a character with a problem and a resolution within 12 images.

“Departure” follows the journey of Michelle, a woman who finds out she is pregnant, unsure of whether she wants to keep the baby or not. As Michelle comes to the decision to keep the baby, she goes to surprise her boyfriend when she finds him with another woman. Michelle decides to leave her boyfriend and begin a brand new life with her child.

Dusk in Eggleston

Twilight comes as the sun fades into the distance and a cool, hazy glow shadows over the world. I hoped to capture a William Eggleston atmosphere and vibe while walking through these neighborhood that was eerily reminiscent of the 70s.
